Expected Salary Range: $22.00-$26.00/ hour (Depending on Experience)
Work Schedule: Monday- Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, (Weekends and OT as needed)

What You'll Do

Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
Responsible for monitoring of facility operations related to waste, stormwater, and spill prevention.
Responsible for routine sampling of stormwater discharges and waste shipments.
Responsible for routine environmental inspections and record keeping.
Responsible for daily sweeping of all paved areas of the facility using a power-driven street sweeper. Includes inspections and routine maintenance on equipment.
Responsible for communicating stormwater system maintenance and performance related issues to facility personnel.
Responsible to calibrate and maintain instrumentation.
Responsible to complete DOT manifests and paperwork.
Responsible for oversight of environmental contractors and landscaping maintenance activities.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in equipment and facility maintenance
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

What You'll Need

Must be able to follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies, rules, and regulations.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and steps, work outside under all weather conditions
Must be able to become confined space certified.
Demonstrates dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in confined spaces for extended periods of time outdoors.
Must be able to work outside under all weather conditions to include working in the heat and cold weather
Able to work overtime as business requires
Responsible for communication with other departments and facilities to accomplish tasks.
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize

Your Education

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
