  • Work schedule: Monday- Friday, Hours: 7:00 am- 3:30 pm (flexible)

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for monitoring of facility operations related to waste, stormwater, and spill prevention.
  • Responsible for routine sampling of stormwater discharges and waste shipments.
  • Responsible for routine environmental inspections and record keeping.
  • Provide day to day environmental compliance oversight to facility personnel under the direction of the Area Environmental Manager.
  • Responsible for communicating stormwater system maintenance and performance related issues to facility personnel.
  • Responsible for daily sweeping of all paved areas of the facility using a power-driven street sweeper. Includes inspections and routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Responsible for purchasing materials and supplies required for environmental compliance.
  • Responsible to calibrate and maintain instrumentation.
  • Responsible to complete DOT manifests and paperwork.
  • Responsible for oversight of environmental contractors and landscaping maintenance activities.
  • Responsible for transporting materials inside facility by forklift.

What You'll Need

  • Must be able to follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and steps, work outside under all weather conditions when needed.
  • Must be able to become confined space certified.
  • Demonstrates dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in confined spaces for extended periods of time outdoors.
  • Responsible for communication with other departments and facilities to accomplish tasks.
  • Responsible to transport equipment to other local CMC facilities.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize

Your Education

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
