What You'll Do

  • Provide or improve asset reliability using analysis of equipment history and through technical skills
  • Identify failures that adversely affect plant operations using Data analysis techniques (Weibull analysis, Six Sigma, Fault tree, CA and RCFA)
  • Provides technical assistance to maintenance and production personnel as needed
  • Monitor and maintain a comprehensive set of performance metrics for the plant
  • Provide technical support regarding plant equipment, process efficiency, and plant wide safety
  • Responsible for equipment problems causing repetitive failures
  • Systematically defines designs, develops, monitors and refines asset maintenance plan including Critical Analysis and SFMEA

What You'll Need

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Ability to partner with project Engineering to ensure reliability of new and modified installations
  • Experience in heavy industrial operations or steel-making manufacturing sectors
  • Ability to understand electrical and mechanical maintenance, hydraulics and pneumatics, and arc flash safety
  • Ability to understand and use predictive maintenance technology, including vibration analysis, thermography, non-destructive material testing
  • Experience using data analysis techniques such as Weibull analysis, Six Sigma, Fault tree, CA and RCFA

Your Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree in a technical field OR 10 years of Industrial Maintenance/Engineering work experience
