What You'll Do
- Coordinate the operational aspects of capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, including planning, scheduling, production integration, and commissioning support
- Support equipment installations, process upgrades, and start-up activities associated with CAPEX initiatives
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate findings to management and operational teams
- Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company safety and environmental standards
- Monitor and analyze rolling mill process performance, including productivity, yield, quality, throughput, and equipment utilization
- Collect, organize, and interpret production data to identify trends, process variations, and opportunities for improvement
- Apply statistical methods and data analysis techniques to support process optimization and root cause investigations
- Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, cost reduction, and productivity improvements
- Support troubleshooting activities related to rolling mill operations, product quality, and process stability
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams to improve process performance
- Create and maintain process documentation, technical reports, standard operating procedures, and performance dashboards
- Participate in process capability studies and production trials
- Support implementation of Industry 4.0 and data-driven manufacturing initiatives
What You'll Need
- 0-3 years of experience in manufacturing, steel processing, rolling mill operations, or related industrial environments
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and data interpretation
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic production environment
Your Education
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field
