What You'll Do
- Responsible for day-to-day transactions such as processing employee data changes
- Process weekly payroll and serve as main point of contact for Kronos issues or concerns
- Assist HR Manager in facilitating a seamless new hire onboarding experience including pre-employment and orientation activities
- Assist with scheduling full-time interviews and sourcing candidates for hard to fill positions
- Understand and educate employees on CMC benefits, including support of the new hire and annual enrollment process
- Assist with plant wide communication through Microsoft Outlook and formatting Power Point slides
- Assist in planning company events and community involvement opportunities
- Develop and manage relationships with local schools and communities to identify opportunities to participate in job fairs, career days, etc.
- Monitor and coordinate all event materials as necessary (banners, tablecloths, giveaways, flyers, etc.)
- Identify and communicate general issues and concerns to the HR Manager and participate in development of the proper response to such issues
- Assist in maintaining compliance with various employment regulations
- Other duties as assigned
What You'll Need
- 2 to 3 years' experience in similar office environment preferred
- Ability to work an 8-hour schedule at the office (no remote work)
- High integrity and confidentiality required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Responsive nature with strong sense of urgency to handle matters quickly
- Professional communication skills required, both written and verbal
Your Education
- Bachelor's degree required
