What You'll Do

  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics and perform basic electrical maintenance repair on noncomplex circuitry
  • Coordinate and assist in servicing cameras, video system, alarm system, and access control system for internal CMC users
  • Create, modify and maintain Industrial SCADA / HMI systems in multiple platforms including WonderWare Intouch, Ignition, and Level 1 touch panels
  • Install, monitor, inspect, troubleshoot, and ensure reliability of all electrical, electronic control systems and components, process equipment, and AC/DC utilities
  • Procure supplies and spare parts to ensure effective and timely maintenance of equipment
  • Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
  • Assist with special projects and other activities as needed

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 5 years of electrical maintenance experience required
  • Experience or formal education and lab training on PLCs, or the ability to navigate block logic, ladder logic, or other digital logic interfaces
  • Experience with hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance of all desktops, laptops, and peripherals
  • Experience with Windows Operating System configuration and management
  • Experience with Allen Bradley, ABB, AC/DC motor and/or other PLC troubleshooting
  • Experience with industrial electrical repairs including troubleshooting and repair of A/C - D/C drives and motors, PLC's and 480 Volt 3 phase electrical
  • Experience in control, SCADA, HMI systems, and field devices
  • Knowledge of Windows Desktop application installs
  • Must possess knowledge and skills pertinent to the equipment associated to the Level II and PLC Equipment (Siemens, VFDs, HMI’s)
  • Must be able to work a 12 hour shift, which includes overtime, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work with exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust fumes and mists, uneven surfaces, loud noise, elevated work areas, and confined spaces
  • Ability to stand for duration of shift; frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs or reaching to work with equipment throughout the entire shift
  • Strong communication skills required. Must read, speak, and understand English language in verbal and written communication.

Your Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associates degree or 2-year technical/trade school; or relevant previous military experience preferred
