This critical role is responsible for supporting the CMC US Payroll solution.  The IT SAP Payroll Functional lead will manage a team that is tasked with thoroughly understanding the business processes, configurations and functionality and associated data. This is a hands-on techno-functional leadership role that will collaborate and partner with the Payroll, HR, Compensation and Benefits teams to support the business.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze, design, build and test the SAP Employee Central (EC) US Payroll solutions
  • Configuration of EC Payroll
  • Support interfaces, including EC replications and integrations, integrations with SAP Finance and HCM, and with other applications
  • Analyze and test EC Payroll support packs upgrades
  • Manage a Payroll Team during mid-size to large size projects, especially during acquisitions
  • Replication and troubleshooting support between EC, EC Payroll and ECC required

What You'll Need

  • 10+ years’ IT experience in SAP US Payroll (Employee Central (EC) Payroll preferred)
  • Well versed in SAP Payroll configuration, Employee Central Master Data, and Integration with SAP Finance
  • Payroll/Accounting background with the ability to understand tax implications is required
  • HR, Benefits, and Payroll business knowledge is required
  • Experience leading Sap Payroll projects, including Payroll Parallel Testing and Year to Date Conversions, preferably with Unions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to run meetings

Your Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in Information Sciences/Accounting or related field
  • SAP HCM Certification is a plus
  • SuccessFactors Certification on Employee Central (EC) is a plus
