What You'll Do
- Lead daily plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and shipping activities
- Drive a culture of safety by promoting safe work practices and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
- Monitor production and quality performance to meet customer expectations and operational goals
- Coordinate people, equipment, and resources to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Manage labor and operating costs while supporting production objectives
- Oversee plant equipment, facilities, and preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance safety, quality, and operational performance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant facility
- Coach, develop, and support supervisors and production employees
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational challenges and achieve plant goals
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, concrete products, construction materials, or a similar industrial environment
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and team-building skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations, maintenance practices, quality systems, and production planning
- Experience managing production performance, labor resources, and operating costs
- Knowledge of industrial equipment and preventive maintenance programs
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, planning, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems
- Working knowledge of applicable safety, environmental, and employment regulations
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Ability to work flexible hours and perform the physical requirements of a manufacturing environment
Your Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
